It gives me great pleasure to share the following images from Katie & Carls Edinburgh elopement. Edinburgh is such a romantic setting for any wedding but especially when the city means so much to the couple. Katie, from the US, & Carl, from England, first met when they were both working in Edinburgh. To get married they eloped to Edinburgh and retraced their steps with a small number of their nearest and dearest. It all began in the Glasshouse Hotel where bridal preparations with Mamosas on a balcony was great way to start the day. A lovely intimate ceremony in Edinburgh City Chambers then followed. A venue surrounded by Edinburghs historic architecture. After this we skipped off for photos in the iconic Holyrood Park just below Arthurs Seat for some golden hour portraits. In the evening they celebrated in the bar they first met. The Basement Bar in Edinburgh was the perfect location for this alternative wedding. With neon signs and tequila flowing it provided a great atmosphere and new memories were created in this bar that meant so much to the newlyweds. Was an absolute blast being involved!
