Rachael & Allan
Where to start for Rachael & Allan's stunning winter weddingg at the Edinburgh Grand. I was forutnate enough to get to know Rachael & Allan at another wedding a few years earlier and I was so excited to be asked to be a part of their special day. Every stunning detail made it an unforgettable winter wedding with this beautiful couple. Here's some kind words they shared after working together.
We first came across Doug’s work when he photographed our best friends’ wedding, and we were absolutely blown away by the emotion, energy, and storytelling in every shot - posed and moreover candid. So the moment we got engaged, we knew instantly that Doug was the only photographer we wanted for our own day — and we were genuinely delighted when he was available.
From the very beginning, Doug was a joy to work with. He is warm, professional, and incredibly intuitive, and he has a remarkable ability to put everyone completely at ease. It truly felt like having another friend — and guest — with us throughout the day, which made the whole experience relaxed, natural, and genuinely enjoyable for us and for all our guests.
We are so grateful to him for capturing our day so perfectly. The photographs are everything we hoped for and more: beautiful, authentic, and full of the little moments that trigger the memories we’ll treasure for a lifetime. He documented the day with such care and creativity, and we are so grateful not only for the images themselves but for the energy and calm you brought to the whole experience.
